Sharp Electronics (UK) Ltd.

Following a corporate restructure, Sharp UK's main focus was on staff morale and retention. The web content was the focal point for them to see how well the teams were doing. Emphasising the importance of the individual in the overall 'Sharp Team', both morale and staff retention were dramatically enhanced.

The Internal Staff Incentive Programme was launched in April 07, and was initially planned to run for six months, it actually ran for two years, across four different themes from Sporting events, to music genres.

We've developed four interactive initiatives for Sharp:

Sharp Sports (an Olympics themed event)
Sharp Performers (great bands from the 70's, 80's & 90's)
Sharp-FX (offline activity events, with online screboard and team challenges)
Sharp Oscars (the Academy Awards didn't have as much tension as the final quiz!)

Each had its own unique design, but they were all built around a secure interactive quiz with teams competing against the clock – as well as each other! And when it comes to inter-office bragging rights, you'd be hard-pushed to find a better motivator!
